very rare genuine RUSSIAN IMPERIAL BADGE, ALEKSANDROVSKY CADET CORPS ( MONOGRAM OF EMPEROR ALEXANDER II). Material is SILVER, PRODUCED BY FIRM "BOK" (JEWELLERY FIRM BY KARL IOHANN BOK ). THE FIRM HAD ONE WORKSHOP IN MOSCOW AND ONE IN Sankt-PETERSBURG. MARKED "84". MARK IS ON THE LOWER PART OF THE FASTENING OF THE BADGE. SIZE is 2.2" x 1.4 " (5.5 cm x 3.5 cm). WEIGHT: 0.9 oz = 25.5 g.
THE BADGE WAS INSTITUTED IN 1910 CADET EMPEROR ALEXANDER II CORPS. In September, 1873 under the supervision of Main chief of military schools general-aide-de-camp N.V.Isakov 3-rd Petersburg military grammar school was established.
MINOR WEAR, NEAR XF CONDITION FOR THIS VERY RARE BADGE.
In Austria on auction Andreas-Thies of July 9, 2005 in Vena the Polotsk-Kadettenkorps (the same period) was sold for 7500 DM (auction #27, lot # 490). In 2004 year in the same auctionhouse the Jeton Alexander-Kadetten-Korpsf was sold for 900 DM. If you are interesting I can send to the bidder and winner that link.

BADGE of 1st BATTERY GUARDS ARTILLERY BRIGADE with Certificate of Authenticity
Very rare genuine Russian Imperial badge of 1st BATTERY GUARDS ARTILLERY BRIGADE, Sankt-Petersburg. Size is 45 x 55 mm. XF condition. Gold, straight, symmetrical cross with gold polished raised borders beneath the gold Imperial crown. In the centre of the cross is a circular silver oxidized shield with 14 raised rivets on the edge. In the centre of the shield is the head of a young lion holding in its jaws an ancient gun (a copy of the cannon badge from the time of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich) and surrounded by the raised dates «1683», «1796», «1816» and «1909». On the rays of the cross are set the gold cyphers of the Emperors Peter I, Paul I, Alexander I and Nicholas 11*. The cyphers of the Emperors Peter I, Paul I and Alexander I are beneath gold Imperial crowns.
In Moscow on auction Gelos - one of the biggest auction houses in Russia - this rare badge was estimated for $3000 - $4000 ! (auction #30, lot #87) and was sold for $3000 (please look at here).

Infantry Warrant Officers School, 1916. Silver, enamels. Nicholas II cipher in the shield. 50mm top to bottom, 33mm wingspan of eagle, 24mm width of white diamond. Very attractive design featuring the double headed eagle with outstretched wings motif.
Reverse of the eagle shows Odessa assay mark with "84" silver content, Kokoshnik and Greek character identifying the location. Maker mark "AF" stamped under the screw post. Reverse of the diamond shows crudely inscribe letters, possibly the name that appears to be Bochar. On the other side is the date in the same hand-writing, 20/ X 16 - probably the date of graduation.
The cross on the top of the Imperial crown is missing - a relatively easy repair if so desired. Minor chips to white enamel under the eagle and in the bottom corner, nearly unnoticeable. Light surface wear to the blue cross. Some of the gold plating to the swords and reverse of the diamond is still present. The swords are somewhat loose but are still holding well. Comes with silver-plated wing nut, definitely of the period and probably original to the badge.
